Lizzie Tisch’s new NYC store is a funky fashion emporium

Philanthropist and entrepreneur Lizzie Tisch is bringing downtown to uptown, transforming the old Cartier boutique on NYC’s Madison Avenue into a modern-day cabinet of curiosities.

Like the centuries’ old rooms that housed wondrous and exotic objects, the LTD by Lizzie Tisch store features whimsical clothing and objets d’art from small, sustainable brands.

There are colorful kaftans and dress coats made with hand-loomed silks, rich brocades and wools from designer Nazzy Beglari, who’s based in New York and Abu Dhabi. There’s playful jewelry created by New York jewelry designer Mckenzie Liautaud, including the brand’s Cupola Magic Crystal necklace, which became a favorite of both Tisch and actor Sarah Jessica Parker. Not to mention the “f——–ck” mug created by artist Dustin Yager at Ceramics + Theory, as well as vintage china “insult” cups by Miss Havisham’s Curiosities, with messages such as “I Hope You Choke” and “Yep, Still Single.”

Citymeals on Wheels’ 33rd Power Lunch for Women raises over $1M

Nearly 400 women gathered at the Plaza for Citymeals on Wheels’ 33rd annual Power Lunch for Women.

Emceed by “30 Rock” star Jane Krakowski, the benefit was expected to raise $1.2 million, which would fund 160,000 meals for homebound elderly New Yorkers.

The event honored longtime supporters Grace, Chloe and Wendi Murdoch, Studio Museum in Harlem head Thelma Golden and architect David Rockwell.

Samantha Boardman, Margo Nederlander and Lizzie Tisch co-chaired the fête, and guests included Rosanna Scotto, Somers Farkas, Georgia May Jagger, Sandra Lee and Julie Menin.

Brooke Shields starts her holiday shopping in style

"Brooke Shields, Martha Stewart, Fern Mallis and Dennis Basso were among the VIPs spotted at the Loews Regency hotel to preview a holiday-shopping extravaganza organized by LTD by Lizzie Tisch.

“Dylan Lauren got behind a whimsical candy bar featuring Tisch’s favorite sweets to serve guests sugary fuel for their shopping,” said a spy.

Also on hand were Indré Rockefeller selling her Paravel luggage and Jenny Hutt and Stacy Fritz with their eyewear line, Bunny Eyez."

At 86, Regis Philbin is still the life of the party

"Although he’s been off the radar of late, Regis Philbin, 86, is “the most spry he’s been in a while,” said a source who spotted him on a double date.

We’re told the TV vet was the “life of the party” at “Table 1” at Fresco by Scotto Tuesday night.

“He had a pep in his step,” the spy said. “He was cracking old jokes and had a lot of energy.”

He even gave his opinion on Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest — hosts of “Live!” in which he starred with Kathie Lee Gifford and later Ripa.

“He said they have great chemistry,” the source related.

Philbin and wife, Joy. were on a double date with Henry and Peggy Schleiff.

Members of the famed Scotto family popped over to gab.

We hear Philbin’s been splitting time between NYC and LA. Meanwhile, Ripa was spotted at a Bridgehampton launch of LTD by Lizzie Tisch — along with guests including Sarah Jessica Parker, Jane Krakowski, Joseph Altuzarra, Alina Cho, Robert Verdi and Cinema Society whiz Andrew Saffir.

The work of pop artist Ashley Longshore was shown at the event, including larger-than-life pearls, lollipops and lipsticks."
