Shop The Cheeky Lizzie Tisch Holiday Pop on Madison Avenue

Just because she's an Upper East Side gal doesn't mean Lizzie Tisch is afraid of dropping an F bomb: "We put the F-U in fun," she says of her retail site, LTD x Lizzie Tisch. Tisch is certainly not alone in dropping a four-letter word or two this holiday season, which is why her month-long holiday pop-up at 828 Madison Avenue feels like a shot of vodka-laced espresso for weary 2020 shoppers. Tisch, a former T&C Jewelry Champion of the Year, put up her her wares at the former Cartier mansion, unrecognizable with a punk rock snarl of ceiling ducts wrapped around a black chandelier and "Don't Wreck the Holidays" spray-painted by artist Brian Kaspr on exposed brick. The refashioned boutique is stocked with covetable items that promise to make holiday shopping enjoyable, including a chill organic body wash from Onda Beauty, a luxe embroidered cashmere sweater from Leret Leret, and a chic emergency kit (really!) from Judy. And that's not to mention New York favorites like handmade glasses from Paul Arnhold, colorful Edie Parker home decor, and sets of McKenzie Liautaud masks, which promise to be this year's smartest hostess gift. "I believe so strongly in the strength and resilience of New York City, so we are pleased to help do our part by activating with this great, diverse selection of vendors,” said Tisch. The pop-up, which naturally follows all Covid-19 guidelines, is open through December 15. For those who can't make it in person, Tisch has shared a selection of her favorite items to shop online now.

L'Objet Launches Haas Brothers Tableware Collection - It's full of whimsy and sure to add character to any table.

"After its debut in Miami this past December, the L’Objet x Haas Brothers collection has been at the top of every design-lover’s list. Here’s why: After over a decade of minimalism and safe, investment dinnerware, it is high time for an ode to joyful exuberance. “I believe in disruption, we don’t need to do the same thing over and over again,” says Elad Yifrach, founder and creative director of L’Objet. “Keep the tradition, but break the mold. We already knew what it took to make a beautiful, functional plate, then the Haas Brothers brought in this fantasy and the results are amazing.” Inspired by Joshua Tree, the collection is a fanciful reverie about creatures that might come out at night, reminiscent of Where the Wilds Things Are. The colorful, anthropomorphic characters in the collection are equal parts Haas Brothers' creativity and L’Objet elegance.

The L'Obet Haas Brothers collaboration includes everything from embroidered table runners and incense burners to a full dinnerware service, all of it with personality. Part of the collection's appeal is due to the artisans Yifrach works with in Portugal, who help bring each piece to life. “We wanted the pieces to be fully three-dimensional, to look interesting at every angle, even the little salt and pepper shakers look great from the back and sides,” Yifrach explains.

The entire line launched March 7, with a celebration cocktail at Bergdorf Goodman, co-hosted by T&C’s editor-in-chief Stellene Volandes. Following the cocktail, a dinner by LTD by Lizzie Tisch at her home brought together guests including Barbara Bush, Lucy Liu, and Robert Verdi. The table, designed by David Monn, was a talking point unto itself, spurring great conversation late into the night. “With ritual objects like dinnerware there is an intrinsic intimacy which we loved building on,” the Haas brothers said. “We hope it encourages faster and deeper human connections, adds to memories, and heightens social experiences.”

The collection is available at Bergdorf Goodman and L’Objet. It is also featured in the April Issue of Town & Country, out this month."

NYC Dinner Party

KIt Keenan launched her fashion line at the surf Lodge Plus Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Rowley, and Don Lemon partied in the Hamptons this weekend.

Maybe it was the stifling temperatures in the city, but New Yorkers decided to make this past weekend a splashy one all along Long Island's South Fork, from the Hamptons all the way to Montauk. In Bridgehampton on Friday night, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kelly Ripa and Jane Krakowksi were among the well known names at Jonatham and Lizzie Tisch's home in Bridgehampton to launch the T&C contributor's new venture, LTD. At the Parrish Museum's annnual Midsummer Party in Water Mill on Saturday, art world machers like Robert Wilson and Chat Leat mingled with newcomers like collector Michael Xufu Huang and socialite Larry Milstein. Theirs was a very different crowd from the party at the Surf Lodge to kick-off Kit Keenan's new fashion line off street wear staples, KIT, which happens to ber her name but also a shorthand Montauk visitors would be well advised to remember: Keep it Together.
